Jack’s father stands by the entrance way, phone to his ear, He appears distant, sad. He nods.
JACK’S DAD
“Your telling me like, “caput,” the house is gone, ay?!
He puts his phone down, turns to his wife. She appears upset.
JACK’S DAD
“I’m so sorry, honey.”
Jack’s Dad and Mom embrace, weep.
Mia’s Dad observes Jack’s parents grieve. He appears concerned.
MIA’S DAD
“Bring it in tight! Come on, group hug!”
He embraces the group.
MIA’S DAD
“Some how some way everything is gonna be okay.”
JACK’S DAD
“We may have lost our home but we didn’t lose our family, or our friends, ay!

Moon, headset off, turns left. He looks at Jack across the way, reveals a smirk.
