What I do!

Mario Martin’s love for storytelling originated as a young boy when he felt inspired to tell stories through writing. At eighteen he shot his first film, “Checkmate.” That was the birthing of his passion for film-making and screenwriting.

Early on he honed his craft at the Maine Media Workshops and Boston Film & Video Foundation. Mario has attended many screenwriting boot-camps, worked with multiple coverage companies and many screenwriters.

EXT. DIAMOND MINE – SOUTH AFRICA – AFRICA – DAY

THREE WEEKS LATER

Morgan stands behind a thick leafy tree.

Her right eye is digital. The lens of her eye ratchets back and forth.

She looks to her left, sees a tall (static) diamond processing plant with a conveyor system.

She turns to her right, sees a large area of mined earth that goes deep into the earth.

She turns left, sees another mine with a huge static excavator.

She turns right, sees a little cabin. She approaches it carefully, walks around the backside.

EXT. BACK SIDE OF CABIN – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan peeks into the cabin through a cracked-board on the backside of the building.

She see’s, JOEL, black-man in his thirties, where’s sunglasses, smokes a cigarette.

He handles a pile of sparkling diamonds.

EXT. BACK-SIDE OF CABIN – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan approaches a window.

She slips, falls to the ground.

MORGAN; Ugh!

INT. MINING CABIN – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Joel appears startled. He removes his hat and sunglasses, puts out his cigarette, exits.

EXT. BACK-SIDE OF CABIN – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan lays on the ground, she appears dazed, confused.

V.O.(voice over) JOEL; “Well hello sugar.”

Joel stands over Morgan.

Joel reaches down, grabs Morgan by the hair, punches her in the face twice. Morgan passes out. Joel ties her up, blindfolds her.

INT. JAIL CELL – DIAMOND MINE – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan sits alone in the corner.

JAIL-CELL HALLWAY

Joel locks the door.

He exits.

SEVERAL DAYS LATER

INT. FERRARI (parked) DIAMOND-MINE – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Joel drinks whiskey from the bottle, he appears drunk, opens the door, exits.

INT. JAIL-CELL – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan sits on the floor, eyes closed, hands tied.

Morgan experience a dream state, has a vision. Her eye turns digital.

JUST THEN

An Angel appears.

ANGEL; “Go.”

Cell door opens, ropes fall off her hands.

EXT. DIAMOND MINE – WAREHOUSE – DAY

Morgan exits the jail, she turns right sees Joel passed out, leans against the warehouse wall.

She turns left, sees a yellow Lamborghini.

EXT. HIGHWAY – SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Lamborghini speeds on the highway.

INT. LAMBORGHINI (MOVING) BORDER OF SOUTH AFRICA – DAY

Morgan drives,

She sees a welcome sign ahead.
