What I do!

Mario Martin’s love for storytelling originated as a young boy when he felt inspired to tell stories through writing. At eighteen he shot his first film, “Checkmate.” That was the birthing of his passion for film-making and screenwriting.

Early on he honed his craft at the Maine Media Workshops and Boston Film & Video Foundation. Mario has attended many screenwriting boot-camps, worked with multiple coverage companies and many screenwriters.

INT. WHITE HOUSE – LIBRARY – DAY

Libby sniffs at the floor, growls, she feverishly paws at the tiles, growls, looks up at Morgan and John, barks.

John and Morgan watch Libby, John turns to Morgan.

JOHN

“Strange.”

Morgan watches Libby paw the tiles. Libby looks up at Morgan, barks. Morgan listens attentively.

MORGAN

“There’s something under there.”

O.S. (off screen) sound of a loud rumble.

Floor shakes, bookshelves shake violently, books fall from the shelves near John and Morgan. They grab hold of each other for balance on a floor that shakes.

JOHN

“We gotta get out of here now!”

EXT. PENTAGON ROOFTOP – WASHINGTON DC – DAY

John, (backpack over a shoulder) Morgan and Libby emerge from the rooftop-exit at the side of the building. They run towards the Hummer parked by the edge of the roof hundreds of feet away on the other side the rooftop-landing-strip.

O.S (off screen) sounds of continues loud rumblings and earthquakes.

Rooftop shakes violently. John and Morgan fall while running, Libby stops. They get up, carefully run to the Hummer.

John and Morgan stand next to the Hummer, Libby by their side. They look out at a wrecked Washington DC.

INT. HUMMER (PARKED) – PENTAGON ROOFTOP – WASHINGTON DC – DAY

John sits behind in the drivers seat both hands on the wheel, Morgan sits in the passenger-seat, turned to Libby in the backseat.

MORGAN

“Good-girl.”

O.S. (off screen) JOHN….. “Oh my God!”

Morgan turns to John. He looks straight ahead, has a look of horror. Morgan turns, looks straight ahead through the windshield.

O.S. (off screen) JOHN ” I feel like I’m in free fall.”

A massive-Black- pyramid has emerged from under the, White-House. White-House remains and refuse lay around the base of massive fully emerged black-pyramid.

Morgan turns to the center-console with Yellow, Red and Blue buttons, she presses the Yellow-button.

O.S (off screen) sound of accelerating jet-engine.

John turns to Libby in the backseat.

JOHN

“Libby’s a good girl.”

He turns to, Morgan.

JOHN

“I don’t know where we’re going but we’ll know it when we get there.”

EXT. PENTAGON ROOFTOP – WASHINGTON DC – DAY

Flames shoot from jet-engine in the cargo area of Hummer. Wings emerge from Hummer-roof line.

O.S. (off screen) Libby barks.

Jet-engine shoots out a large burst of flames. Hummer takes off on the rooftop-landing strip at high speeds, takes flight, disappears in the sky.

O.S. (off screen) MORGAN “Galactic-court here we come.”
