What I do!

Mario Martin’s love for storytelling originated as a young boy when he felt inspired to tell stories through writing. At eighteen he shot his first film, “Checkmate.” That was the birthing of his passion for film-making and screenwriting.

Early on he honed his craft at the Maine Media Workshops and Boston Film & Video Foundation. Mario has attended many screenwriting boot-camps, worked with multiple coverage companies and many screenwriters.

INT. HUMMER (parked) VILLAGE OF CERVINIA – ITALIAN ALPS – DAY

John sits in the drivers-seat, he presses a button on the instrument cluster.

O.S. (off screen) Hummer engine roars to life. Dual exhaust resonate sound of throaty power.

Morgan in the front passenger seat is halfway over the top, reaches over into the back seat, buckles Tony’s seat-belt. She looks him in the eyes.

MORGAN

“You keep this on till I say it’s okay to take it off.”

Tony nods, reveals a pleasant smile. Morgan kisses his forehead.

O.S. (off screen) Libby barks.

Morgan turns to Libby.

“Of course mama loves you.”

She hugs Libby, rubs her furry neck, looks at her.

MORGAN

“Libby’s a good girl.”

She turns around, composes her self, puts her seat-belt on. John turns to her, smiles.

JOHN

“Crew ready to go?”

Morgan gives John a look of admiration.

MORGAN

“This is what they will never know, to be humane, to feel.”

John nods in agreement.

JOHN

“Fullness, depth, contentment, endless glory and majesty, chaos, adventure, tragedy, evil, wonder, always now, now, now…and then there’s love.”

Tony appears keenly focused on John as he talks to Morgan.

MORGAN

“And that makes us, you know what.”

JOHN

“Bad-ass-motha fuck’s!”

Morgan blurts out laughing, covers her mouth. Turns to Tony.

MORGAN

“Do not repeat those words.”

She turns to John, laughs, shakes her head.

John smiles, puts on his sunglasses, drives intensely.

EXT. MOUNTAIN ROAD – ALPS – ITALY – DAY

Hummer speeds down twisty mountain roads.

O.S.(off screen) Sound of Hummer engine racing.

EXT. SOME RANDOM ITALIAN CITY – NIGHT

Hummer speeds on a city street.

O.S.(off screen) Tony; “Bad-ass motha fucka’s!”

INT. HUMMER (moving) CITY – ITALY – NIGHT

Morgan in the front passenger seat spins around, glares at Tony in the back seat.

She struggles not to laugh.

MORGAN

“Woo-hoo!”

EXT. BOBSLED COURSE – ALPS – ITALY – DAY

HUMMER SPEEDS DOWN A BOBSLED COURSE.

O.S.(off screen) JOHN; We’re outta here!

Hummer speeds down Olympic long-jump.

Hummer launches high into the air.

Hummer’s rear mounted Jet-engine ignites. Hummer disappears into space.
