Mario Martin’s love for storytelling originated as a young boy when he felt inspired to tell stories through writing. At eighteen he shot his first film, “Checkmate.” That was the birthing of his passion for film-making and screenwriting.

Early on he honed his craft at the Maine Media Workshops and Boston Film & Video Foundation. Mario has attended many screenwriting boot-camps, worked with multiple coverage companies and many screenwriters.

EXT. YARD – COASTLINE OF ATLANTIC FLOOR – SOMEWHERE ON EARTH – NIGHT

John stands directly under the brilliant light beams of the UFO he just shot with his shotgun. The UFO warbles, plummets.

It crashes into the earth, burst into flames.

A beastly horrifying looking alien emerges from the flames, moves in Johns direction.

John runs to the house. He grabs an Ax on the steps of the porch. He turns, ax in hand.

JUST THEN

Angry looking Alien bares down on John quickly.

John SPINS with the Ax held high he chops the Aliens ugly head off.

Red digital blood splatters everywhere.


John wades through the bloody digital explosion.

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE IN THE WOODS.

A group of aliens approach the house.

INT. LIVING-ROOM – HOUSE ON ATLANTIC COASTLINE – NIGHT

Morgan, Tony by her side they both look out the window. Three Aliens approach. Morgan and Tony appear horrified.

EXT. YARD/HOUSE – COASTLINE OF A DRAINED-ATLANTIC-OCEAN – NIGHT

UFO hovers over the house. A brilliant light beams down from it. Morgan is taken up into the UFO through the brilliant light.

John watches the UFO with Morgan in it above him, shields his eyes from blinding light.

JOHN

“Morgan!!!! Morgan!!!!”

John Glares at the UFO above him. He appears distressed, enraged. He morphs into, “Super John.”

He sprints into the house entrance. Emerges with Tony under one arm, reaches down, scoops up Libby by the doorway with his other arm.He sprints to the Hummer parked in the driveway.

EXT. SKY – OVER A DRIED UP ATLANTIC OCEAN – EARTH – NIGHT

O.S. (off screen) Sound of Roaring jet engine.

Hummer blasts into the universe.

JOHN (voice over)

“I’m coming, Morgan! I’m Coming!”
