What I do!

Mario Martin’s love for storytelling originated as a young boy when he felt inspired to tell stories through writing. At eighteen he shot his first film, “Checkmate.” That was the birthing of his passion for film-making and screenwriting.

Early on he honed his craft at the Maine Media Workshops and Boston Film & Video Foundation. Mario has attended many screenwriting boot-camps, worked with multiple coverage companies and many screenwriters.

Wa-wa… This is hard.

December 14, 2019

I need a couple days. I know, I said I would be revealing the plot for, “Detritus” today but I won’t compromise the craft or the story. I don’t have it yet. The harder I push the further it gets away. So, I’m gonna chill, let the spirit move till I do feel and see it. It will come.

Inspiration can not be pushed…….but it can be found in a process.

For me, writing a screenplay, this is typically how the creative process works.

Right now the concept is running through my minds screenwriting algorithms.

And I’m actually a little excited that it’s taking a little longer for the encouragement to other writers. This is what we go through. Aspiring writers need to know this, established writers need the encouragement.

Had to say, “Hey,” cause I said I would and sorry its taking a little longer.

Be back soon with a complete story-outline for, “Detritus.”
